Genevieve's One-Year Birthday Celebration {Event}

How is it possible that this sweet baby girl is already one year old?

A few days ago, Genevieve's mommy and daddy gathered together in a beautiful sun-lit house to celebrate Genevieve's birthday with all their friends and family.  Jessica and Nathan, the proud mommy and daddy, prepared a winter forest-themed party with a million little details to make it special for their guests.  Genevieve lay swaddled in her daddy's arms, fast asleep while all the guests arrived.  She awoke happy and hungry and ready to enjoy her big day.

Thank you so much, Nathan and Jessica, for the privilege of following your little girl through her first year of life.  She is so mild and content and beautiful.  God bless your family!

Editing . . .

. . . editing, editing, editing.

So far this week: it's been a birthday party for the cutest little doll you ever did see, who celebrated in style with all her family and friends at a beautiful winter-themed party; and it's been a senior session with a hunting-loving boy and his dog in their tornado-ravaged yard followed by a quick run up to a most-fun dilapidated old woolen mill.  Yet to come:  a one-year-old with her mommy and daddy.

Okay, must stop dropping secrets and get back to . . .

. . . a whole lot more editing.

I love my job!

Kids

Some days I just have to pinch myself to make sure it's really me having this much fun at "work".  And yes, today was another one of those days.

And some days, I lose all self-control in keeping a secret a secret.  And yes, today is one of those days as well.  This session is a Christmas present, and guess who is ruining the surprise?  Well, there is more to come, but I'll do my best to hold off sharing it with the rest of you till after the "someones" open their present.  :)

But oh, was this ever fun for me!

Stay tuned for several more up-coming photo sessions next week.  So fun!  I can't wait!
